I like BASIC and recently been thinking it might be nice to do some modern game dev on BASIC. My father got me into programming on a TI-99/4A [0] machine, so the BASIC language always has a place in my heart. However, I recently also c

I don't think many people in Europe really prefer SUVs, perhaps it's just the best type of electric car that is on offer or maybe the one with the biggest subsidies. Of course I speak from my point of view as someone who was raise

Have you tried doing Android dev using an Android emulator on an 8 GB Mac? Perhaps in combination with Xamarin? I did and performance was horrible. For just iOS or macOS dev, 8 GB could be fine though.

I’m guessing swapping happens quicker, perhaps due to the unified memory architecture. With quicker swapping you’d be less likely to notice a delay. That said I’d still be very hesitant buying a 8 GB M1 Mac. When my iMac only had 8 GB it wa

In The Netherlands it's kind of the same I think. Politicians often end up with very lucrative private sector jobs at the end of their political careers. No doubt at least part of the jobs granted is payment for services rendered and p
