Bullshit by the origin. This man juggles words and meanings at Du Soleil level, so finding roots in his claims is impossible, due to the described above. He’s basically GPT-3 of his time with the temperature parameter cranked up, an intelle

Vimers can adapt https://vim.fandom.com/wiki/Different_syntax_highlighting_wi... for a similar thing (but you have to wrap a string into some regular syntax).

I see it as a self-sustaining stereotype only prevalent in what people tend to read. Who wants to read about a normal life of a normal russian, frankly? It’s likely not a snark, but it is nothing more than just a complex sort of klukva^ eit

And in that period it wasn’t particularly habitable either. An observer may not find that big of a difference between a recently formed planet and a planet recently hit by another planet.

I see a weather.com class, a parser and a react gui boilerplate boilerplate tsx folder. All three are textbook and trivial areas. We are only missing an ad hoc crud orm here. In my opinion that is not code, it’s not a business logic. What i

Funny, because for my simple but over-mspaint editing needs I still prefer GIMP over Krita (and I hate both, ofc). Krita screams “you are a graphics artist”, which nope I’m not. It’s the same mess to me, only starts even slower and thinks t

Linux Desktop never needed GIMP like a regular Windows user never needed Photoshop. Photoshop is “start at work in the morning” software and GIMP is its “artist’s impression”. What Linux Desktop needed was Jasc/Corel Paint Shop Pro and

A theory about a previous advanced civilization must first and foremost explain how and why it skipped using all the obvious under-your-feet materials and fuel sources in its initial phase.

Yes, and memory palaces work this way. People remember 20-50 items (or cards) at once by simply placing them at a familiar location. “A racoon sits near a red vase at the entry with his legs crossed and a rhino spilled half the bath on the

I suspect it’s not a smarter developer thing, but a stupider code thing. Programming for a client is making their processes easier, ideally as few clicks as possible. Programming for a programmer does the same to programming. The thing with

What is the point of “ramping up” though? You don’t learn much about how to prompt in the process, you just get worse results. So now I have my useless todo and ramp up to my code and it falls face first in the mud in the next sentence. I c
