My Chinese wife says it goes on another week despite what Google calendar says (also it's not called Lunar New Year evidently)

There isn't one, unless they fixed it today. Just a down arrow to change the model.

At the least they should care more about UX. I have no idea how to restore the sidebar on chatgpt on desktop lol

I still use the Sublime shortcuts in my IDE to this day. Sublime had a big impact on me when I got my first job as it introduced me to multiple cursors. It's still the best tool for many tasks.

I lived across the street. Just walking around you smell it when they go by. Not a huge deal but definitely an improvement!

At least it's a win for air quality for the people that live near the tracks. You could smell and taste the old diesels, was pretty annoying.

Pretty cool, but it seems I crashed it to a grey screen. Even game counter stopped. I was battling someone, was fun though.

Note that most IPS displays have 0 PWM flicker. I use a couple IPS gaming monitors. IPS displays look better for code vs OLED anyway, IMO.

DRF has more abstraction. When I was new to Django I found DRF hard to build a larger API with it and not make mistakes or have things get confusing. You're primarily working by extending classes etc. With django-ninja you just define

I could only imagine they want to replace their existing infra with this as a potential cost saving measure.

I don't buy this because using Chrome is what most bots probably do right? Headless chrome is easy.

Yeah that's a bad idea. You should instead just create a doc for each number. Each time you add a number the entire list needs copied to disk and to each secondary, so the cost grows quickly with each write.

PG and Mongo will vertically scale about the same depending on your queries. They were probably using sharding with tiny instances which is dumb. Also, large documents doesn't really hurt performance with mongo, except maybe with write

This is a pretty common experience with mongo tools and support, sadly. Recently I ran into a tool that spat out "you probably want to use this option!". We paid for enterprise support so I asked why this option was not documented

So instead of picking tooling that works with the dev tooling your developers like, you pick tooling that's dime a dozen (js formatter) that doesn't work with the best tools your devs like? Got it. How are you still a manager?

Your issue was going against the grain and using Vim. Everyone was using an IDE because they found the optimal workflow and just wanted to work. It's like joining a team of roofers and using a hammer while everyone else is using nail g

React is nice for a lot of things, but when it's a pain it's really a pain. That's abstraction for you! :)

Because this is the entrypoint? Having code exec out of an explicitly defined entry point that's an entire file sucks.
