I like to write code and still do, for like, Screeps. With AI I can have it do the mundane stuff, and use my knowledge/skills to guide it in a better product direction than others do (IMO).

The litter robot is fine, it's just a turning globe that dumps into a box. The main issue is the sensors corrode so you have to pop the globe off and replace them. I just take it outside and hose it lol

Robot vacuums are massively simpler and they fucking break all the time. Wheel motors or their position sensors, belts, plastic gears, contacts that corrode, a circuit board someone decided to not comformally coat and a cat puked on it...

I highly recommend a desoldering gun , like a Hakko, absolutely life changing if you take stuff apart or repair often. Also, flux is your friend.
