People won't be able to "browse" a lot using IE much longer anyway. Slack, for example, seems to drop all IE support next month, and I don't think we'll have to wait as long as with IE6 this time before most apps dr

Another typical part of the lecture style was the “Dijkstra Font”. Some of the lectures in my CS program were given by people who worked with Dijkstra, like Feijen, and they all used the exact same style of beautiful handwriting. Perhaps th

Unless your provider’s plan includes calling abroad at domestic rates, calling a foreign number from home will be more expensive than calling that same foreign number from another member state. It’s a rather absurd consequence of the fact t

Also make sure you don't use it for any image formats that are processed by logic with the complexity of a small command-line interpreter. You'll risk a lot of XXE vulns with formats like SVG or MVG. To see some examples of said l

Yep this is nicely done! We also use a similar block (or widgets) approach for our editor, and it works really well for mixing all kinds of content in one editor. Storing them as JSON objects with client-side classes that know how to render

Definitely agree with the "calendar" part. It's hard to create some sort of week plan (or any sort of schedule/plan) with many to-do list types, and it was one of the reasons we developed Thymer back then. I'm sure

Yeah turning off compression completely is kind of crude but it works without having to go into app-specifics, I'm sure the Django folks are on it ;). When it comes to things like CSRF tokens, probably secret masking (4) is the easiest

Thanks for the comment! HTML emails would be a next step to look at, and it would be great to be able to combine the advantage of fast/easy form creation without the need for any 'markdown' (just like most marketing managers probably also w

Thanks for the feedback, those are all very good points. Because we were looking for something to create forms fast and collect data inline from emails, we created this initial version and decided to share it already. So although it's curre

Thanks for the feedback Dan! You got it, the "text below" is what you can send to us and which we'll then turn into a form/database. We'll try and change the wording to make it more clear!

Thanks, good to know. It's possible to paste in a list of comma separated addresses in email format, but I suppose the CSV files usually have separate columns for email/firstname/lastname/etc. We'll look into that! Of course you can also us

Thanks for the feedback! Good points, we'll also try to change the text a bit. It's funny that we had some more people say they were really surprised that it "just worked" to reply inline, but we'll probably add an option to include a link

We were looking for some kind of "posterous for forms", but couldn't really find anything, so we created this side project. You can create (web)forms with email, and collect data directly from replies to the form email you send out (so peop

I would say one of the most important aspects to consider is the workflow of being a 'demo user' to signing up. Sure, rewriting your app's sign up process into an 'online demo' by automatically generating a guest account won't take that muc
