I think what's happening with Twitter and Reddit is actually a good thing in that it's exposing the failures of centralized networks. The thing is, these failures aren't big enough yet for people to jump ship and I think the

Solid point. It's like when Uber stopped subsidizing their rides as much and people started freaking out. We get complacent thinking we deserve these services with little cost, when real humans are the ones providing these services and

If you can't afford food delivery I wouldn't blame the delivery workers. They make near nothing (this bumps them up to a little more than nothing for NYC). I hear a lot of complaints about food delivery prices. And I can't he

It's also like react-pdf, where they give you react components to easily build out a PDF document without getting into the nitty gritty of the PDF spec. I'm a fan of this paradigm

I've been wondering what the true solution is. I see more and more restaurants removing tips from the equation and just charging more and supposedly paying their employees better. But that's still a tiny portion of all restaurants

I want to do this so bad with a couple things in my life. But I know I won't because those things matter so much to me and I can't stomach putting those decisions up to chance, even if doing so would make me feel better 6 months o

On pages, I fully agree. Within components, I also agree but I've found it hard to push back when a design calls for scrollbars because the alternative is... what? It can be difficult to visually say "Hey, you! There's more t

Fully agree. Seems like the author pointed out one thing - that there are increasing numbers of units usable in CSS, doesn't really talk about why that's bad, and then wraps it up. I think there's a general anxiety some devs

Are you being serious? The landing page had 1 job and it failed at doing it. I'm all for reddit alternatives but c'mon, a page showing off a product that fails to clearly link to said product is just funny.

I was pleasantly surprised at Apple's work toward wider game support that they announced at WWDC. I mean it doesn't mean most triple-A games will have support any time soon, but it's a step in the right direction.

I'm Gen Z at 26 so yes, but Gen Z also accounts for people born up until 2013 per the US census (10 years old). Taking the middle age between those (18 years old) I think you can see my point
