That's what I did a few months ago when I tried DDG as default. The learning curve getting used to their design was a hurdle I didn't feel like jumping either.

I think he's more saying that people will be reluctant and/or unable to completely rethink their apps design and functionality and this will present an opportunity for new developers who build things that are uniquely suited to iO

I agree what I want is a BS in CS. However getting a second undergrad degree is extremely uncommon in the US. Many schools don't even allow it.
