Why compare this to Dippy AI of all things? Looks like a platform/app targeting a different type of AI character consumer. Also I see nothing about Dippy being open source.

The article came off more as an advertisement for Bluesky than it did constructive criticism of X. Not knocking BlueSky, I understand they're currently the most viable competitor other than Threads. From my understanding of the change

They say the policy goes into effect January 2025, but I'd expect some managers will try to get their teams in sooner for appearances since in the same post he mentions reducing bureaucracy and in turn the number of managers.

To a degree for sure. Definitely not in the context of Texas. Dallas, DFW, Plano areas are unfortunately not that cheap haha

Change my mind, but modern JS frameworks aren't just hype. They solve real problems for complex UIs. PHP's great for some stuff, but try building a snappy SPA with it.

I've been wanting to build my own handheld ever since I picked up a 3d printer so the last few months I've been checking these builds out. The blackberry keyboard is my favorite part of the build, definitely going to do the same f

We switched from LastPass to Bitwarden and have been fairly happy with it. 1password has a really nice looking desktop app, but haven't used it on windows. All 3 of them have cross platform support now so a lot of it simply depends on

Solid color picker. Works better than other web apps I've tried. Bookmarked for later. Well done app.

The touch was pretty good too. I had a Palm Pre Plus that I picked up for $30 in 2010. Thing booted in seconds, had multi-tasking that looked like magic to iphone users, and had a swappable battery that got a lot of hate at the time for onl

Good. Do Kwon is grifting sociopath and lost a lot of people money. From the start his first reaction was PR damage control and like the post says he even tried to make a run for it. Zero personal accountability.

As a basic collectible game I really like this idea. It would be nice if it was possible to trade or auction art after buying it, but the focus seems to be more on collecting new art which I respect. Any planned features?

I've used turbotax for the last decade. They lure you in with free services for enlisted military or other discounts, then make it feel as annoying as possible to switch. Realizing how much I've been ripped off now I think this is

Reading the article. I'm not making any hard claims. I think the M3 is most likely still going to be better, but I want it to have more competition.

I went on a deep dive about David Hilbert a few years ago. He did incredible work. Unfortunate that his death was heavily overshadowed by the war. Hilbert's 6th isn't just a problem; it's a quest for the ultimate scientific R

When I hear people talk about unsafe ai, it’s usually in regard to bias and accountability. Certain aspects like misinformation are problems that can be solved, but people are easily fooled. In my opinion the benefits heavily outweigh the r

Heads up for anyone at work. Submissions are open with no manual verification done, and there's no filter. Scrolled to the bottom as the page loaded and the first thing I see is a racial slur.

We've got a seasoned CTO and a product designer who knew how to play their cards right with AI. Good on them for making a sale, though it makes me wonder why the buying duo didn’t whip up their own platform. Maybe DimeADozen had some u
