Being alone in the city, "alone in the crowd", feels just as lonely if not more so for me than walking alone in the forest. The latter I expect to be alone, but in the former, I'm surrounded by people but with no connection.

I too wish for the 11” MacBook Air again, but having a 15” model in that line seems like a good idea too.

I seriously doubt GP’s income is average. They did not make any claims about the average households tax burden either, only their own.

This should be the top link, not the image. The discussion here might be much better if commenters read the article the graph is attached to.

I looked into a newer faster charging EV, but they are ridiculously expensive. Current plan is wait until 2025 and start shopping used.

I’d take that downside over having to mix languages on each platform. UI toolkit Rust bindings for all the platforms I want to target would let me just write Rust instead of also having to write Swift, Java, JavaScript, etc.

I found CRLS dry and difficult. Skiena’s Algorithm Design Manual was much more approachable for me. That was my go to during interview practice.

swc and tsx are already significantly faster than tsc, partly due to being written in faster languages, or languages that make it easier to write fast code with minimal runtimes.

With usable screen space. Pixel doubling on a 4k 32” display leaves you with just 1080p effective resolution. Everything is way too big. It would be fine at 24”, but it’s not useful at 32”. At 32” I want 1440p at least.
