Would be useful to know the long term profitability of this annual hedge rather than cherry picking a great year. If, hypothetically, every other year they lost a billion, then this $5B gain doesn't seem as great.

Transmission is actually one of the biggest problems identified by US ISOs. Not easy to get the power where it is needed bc big transmission lines are costly.

I agree. The article is intentionally vague. Millions of dollars in revenue is relatively easy vs. millions in net profit. That said, presumably the value of the entity could be a multiple of the revenue. Either way the article fails to
