Why not setup your own hosting for your clients? Problems always arise when you give the client options on the server. They do not know these things. Usually they always opt to have the cheaper plan -- they are not technical people. I have

I check the website when I am not busy to get the latest news. When I mean latest, I mean to the last minute. I use netvibes.com when busy and just scan entire tabs for important stuff.

My friends have tried using iPhoto once for a bar party. We just hooked it up with projector and speakers. iPhoto is good since the transitions are cool enough and you can play music during the slideshow. If you do not have a Mac then borro

I would have to agree with this. Being smart does not guarantee wealth. There are a lot bright people who got good grades in HighSchool, finished college, etc. This is because they have to -- get good grades. But after graduation, it become

In my own opinion, yes. If I were the owner of the site, I would use a Link Ad just below the The Online Slang Dictionary with the same background color and white text color. And I would add another Link Ad below Welcome to The Online Slang

I agree. I was not into Facebook a few months (maybe a year) ago... Expecting to see some good apps, I was actually very surprised to find out that almost all of them are junk... Seriously, I just ignore all app requests now.

English text reads from Left-to-Right. So it would make sense to put tabs and not use the iTunes navigation bar -- it would be a waste of real estate.

I think he just needs to place the ads properly. Those link ads, in my experience, are wonderful.

That is weird. A few months back, I got suspended from my shared hosting account after upgrading to Wordpress 2.7X and I was getting only around 600 unique visits a day... The hosts says I was already using more than 90% of their resources.

On the side note, I wouldn't mind if HN place a tiny link ad somewhere. That would be a good experiment.

Same thing happened to me. Someone beat me to it. But I just kept working on it (still not done actually. hehe). They are making money, so this confirms that my idea will work. It is more of a reassurance than a threat/de-motivation to me.

Hehe. I might have been over the top when I wrote my previous comment. But seriously, I would prefer working on things that I do not know yet than fixing other people's code.

The same goes for me while I am at work. Debugging sucks the life out of you. I try to compensate by doing my personal side-projects/start-up a few hours a night.

This is amazing. I can't wait to have syntax highlighting for code. I am imagining this as a "live"/"real-time" paste2.org This would make collaboration much faster.

What is holding you from the press coverage? I personally think that it wouldn't hurt if you go through it. If you already have 100 users, what is the difference with the 1000 users? So, I say go ^__^ and good luck!
