Come here in the Philippines. Cost of living is not that expensive -- at least here in Cebu. You can get a house beside a beach and you'll probably live like a king.

I recently had been contacted by a client thru Philweavers - try to register there too. Charging clients is a little bit tricky. You can charge per projec or per hour. I prefer hourly rates because there is less pressure - you don't get pai

This makes sense. But I imagine it that it will be complicated provided that one table has a lot of other dependent tables associated with it. Am I right to assume this? Perhaps if I had foreseen this, I would have made my database schema e

Another thing I am curious about. When archiving/purge/whatever it is called; what happens to the dependent tables? For example, the Header-to-detail relationship between tables. Anyway, I will be trying out the Tools found in this link: h

I really do not understand people reacting violently on how "PHP sucks/horrifying". PHP is just a tool that people use. Blame the programmer not the tool. I have had encounters with horrifying code with a lot of times BUT most of my complai

if you are looking into Code Igniter, i suggest that you look into http://kohanaphp.org/home - it is a fork of CodeIgniter. CodeIgniter does support PHP5. But you will have to turn off warnings, etc.
