Here's one angle. If this app becomes popular and Uber sends a C&D, then Uber results will no longer show up in this app, meaning Lyft would get all the bookings from people who use it.

Seconded. Logan is class act. It's great to see Lyft doing well. They are a nice contrast to how Uber operates.

Twitch.tv is more important for anyone who follows E-Sports than any other property out there, Cable or Net. I'm on Twitch.tv more than ABC, NBC, CBS, etc for 8 months out of the year (football season excepted). And I'm definitely

Agree with your comment, but an inundation of these type of comments on HN in the past seem like a very good indicator that the company will succeed to the tune of multi-billion$ valuations.

Well, nobody would use PH if they begged for people to use it. Their success is directly correlated with the fact that they are a cool kids club, and everyone wants in. Psychology 101. Your comment, ironically, if anything, just made PH m

Can Paypal (not Braintree) also authorize future Credit Card purchases from the same user without having to enter the CC number again? As in, could PayPal pass me a customer ID when someone purchases with CC via PayPal?

Will this be able to save credit cards on the device so the user doesn't need to re-enter their credit card every single time they need to make a purchase?

The opengl looked quite smooth but the UI layer looked very slow and laggy. Is there a reason for this?

My concern are the costs. If you track by visits, even trivial apps will need to pay $500/month.

I don't see why this is a bad thing. There is inherently less cognitive overhead to use something you are already familiar with. Same reason why people wouldn't give Bing the time of day. All things being equal, and you just had

So is the consensus that this guy actually committed all counts of the allegations or is this article just really biased.

I believe they hired HR and put new policies in place. Chances are this incident will make it a better place to work than before.

Only if it was true or partially true. If it was completely off-base and false, they'd be going after the person making the allegations like there was no tomorrow.

Highly doubt this scales past 30 employees unless your customer base is really small. Customer service should really be summarizing concerns, and you should verify the concerns by looking at data to see if it's really a concern worth
