Is that much different than chat rooms or Omegle?

Slight correction - ‘ata’ means either father or grandfather (father of apples). The city was known to have a lot of apple trees in the surrounding mountains.

Hi, not really because my understanding is bigquery requires structured data but Stackdriver just expects a arbitrary json payload which can be queried from. Do you have any experience?

Have you looked into Google Cloud Logging (Stackdriver)? It's the most affordable and decent-enough solution we've found. The only issue is querying can be slow on large volumes.

Is paying extra 3-10% of your already expensive invoice worth the premium support that you _might_ need? Not sure I would consider that customer obsession... more like insurance.

For me, it's mostly the key bindings rather than the program itself. I use vim key bindings on whatever the latest $editor is rather than learning its keyboard navigation. I got introduced to vim very early on though.

I can't seem to find a link to the actual codebase? Good to see AWS console finally moving away from angular 1.

I guess that makes sense if it’s only for surface level addressing. I wasn’t sure if it’s supposed to be a deeper identity signal.

I’ve seen this forced at larger companies and Universities. I’m neutral on the topic of stating pronouns — could somebody with more knowledge explain the difference between including pronouns and age/sex/race/religion/et

Hi, I really don’t want to sound lazy but might as well ask the creator: where does n8n cloud fit compared to Pipedream or Autocode? I use pipedream a lot but curious if n8n is an alternative or solves something else.

I like Weave Cloud’s Prometheus hosting model — it’s per host, which is predictable and forecastable.

Once you incorporate your systems and teams workflows around a specific system, it’s hard to justify a migration to another system. Most companies (like ours) just eat the cost at that point.

Our company recently "graduated" from Intercom's early-stage program. Intercom is a mediocre product but their pricing does not make sense whatsoever. I exchanged about 20 emails (while being very slow) with their account rep

I noticed the algolia search is not very good and doesn’t go back as far. I think it limits results to 6 years or so.

DO doesn't have a great track record for customer trust. I run personal workload but couldn't recommend it over AWS to a larger company. - https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=23117660 - https://news

I’ve done over a hundred technical interviews in the past 5 years. You can tell a lot about someone by quickly glancing over a project source code, comments, documentation, automation, etc vs talking to them for an hour or two. (to be clear
