This is really fun, there's some fun combos which output amusingly strange results. Some of my first discoveries: - Meteor Pot - Meteor Soup - Meteor Shower Soup - Meteor Fish Soup - Jabba The Soup-zeus - Sith zeus - Ja

To have a better understanding of what operations you are trying to do. I can't answer your question specifically because it depends a lot on use case and what date/time standards you want to use.

I would argue that doing time arithmetic by modifying components of a date individually is wrong in any language.

Off the back of this I've just dug the very same camcorder out of a box in the loft and indeed it now has a number of electrical and mechanical issues. Looks like I left a blank tape it it which is now shredded. The built in screen wor

Reminds me back in the early 2000s I had a miniDV camcorder. There was a linux package which allowed you to write archives to the miniDV tapes over firewire, I think each small tape could hold about 12-13Gb which was quite impressive. The o

This is very interesting - always good to see open source implementation of protocols for audio gear. Might I recommend though that you pull all the DigiMixer code out into its own repo? That might help others to get the code and collaborat

I can't recall what resources I used to improve with Fusion 360; there are a wealth of resources out there, I recall I did watch a few youtube vids on the subject. I'm not a complete stranger to CAD though, I've dabbled here

If I'm honest I struggled to complete the write up as I wanted to be reasonably detailed about each step of the design and build. I appreciate it could do with a few more photos or illustrations, and I may come back to this in due cour

Stellarium can also interface to hardware, so you can use it as a front end for go-to mounts and telescopes. It's my software of choice for setting up my DIY astrophotography rig. https://doug.lon.dev/2023/09/

Can you not also push back to your fork and GH guides you to make a PR from your fork/branch to the upstream? IIRC, you don't have to deal with the upstream locally?

The real problem is that even though being distributed is cool and can help to ensure that your work exists in more than one place either for reasons of collaboration or backup, humans still like to cling to the idea of having a "sing

And don't forget that each git clone can have multiple remotes. So your working copy can be simultaneously linked to any or all of GitHub, usb, local network, nas, etc.
