Saying CC's have robust fraud protection is equally misleading, imo. They require you trust every merchant, website, waiter, etc to not abuse your information. Chargebacks just shift the cost of the merchant, most of the time, and as b

There's an "AmigaOS" release from '06 [1] (you can buy expensive PowerPC boards that run it) [2] [1] http://www.amigaos.net [2] http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AmigaOS_4#Compatible_hardware

How would an attacker exploit a service while it was inaccessible because they're DDoSing it? Why would someone draw attention to themselves like that? Maybe the attacker stole the coins and then DDoS'd the site? It's all s

The problem is that if someone finds a bug in say, PHP, the exploit could easily be worth 60-100x the $1500 you'd get paid when its fixed .

I'm not a huge node fan, but these are some weak criticisms. Not sure "CGI" is really appropriate for all tasks.

I think most people are familiar with what pseudo-anonymous means, no need to keep restating it in different ways.

It's obvious to me that many of the Bitcoin critics in this thread have never actually used it. I prefer Bitcoin for online purchases, if a vendor accepts it, I'll use it. Purchases aren't tracked, or being sucked up by some

node.js is sexier when it doesn't serve stacktraces in production. Plus async files reads still happen in an internal threadpool (one thread per core, hardcoded, IIRC) so it's pretty easy to saturate that anyway, you should be cac
