True, but that is the same reasoning that the law goes by when it is required to prove guilt rather than proving innocence. The legal system many times lets the bad guy walk to make sure that an innocent is not accidentally convicted or ove

I think you're getting it wrong. This doesn't make "Heightened Pleading" difficult. The whole idea is to say the defendant is infringing on such and such in their manufacturing process. It seems to me that this is the ex

Nah, I think this is how Google is trying to make it less visible how they rank and what people search for. If you consider how Bing is gaining ground and that Yahoo may be inclined to build their own search engine and that such competitors

I'm not a marketer but this is a matter of knowing what people want so that they, marketers or their businesses, know what to work on making and selling. It isn't really a privacy issue since Google does track you and know who you

Actually in the early days of the iPhone even Engadget didn't count it as a smartphone because it didn't run apps. Of course this changed later. What was considered a smartphone was mostly a Palm Treo, Motorola or HTC device. Some

I also find that a lot of the problem is that many companies want a ready STEM worker. In other words someone who can get up and going immediately. Business plans require it but such a person is specialized and cannot have got up and runn

Thanks for sharing. I love to know about the early days of pioneers. It humanizes them and makes me feel what they did is something normal people, like me, can achieve.

The comparison between coding and computer science is kind of like saying that 10% of your code runs 90% of the time, which is usually true. Computer science is the 100% but coding is the 10% that gets to run on hardware.

It is so easy to make people with idealistic views switch those views. The reason being that such people attach their views to an unattainable standard clouding their judgement, then when they realize the flaws in their views they backlash.

Why is this funny? If I had the choice of either parting with 30%-20% of what I make or supporting another platform that gives me back that 30%-20% I'd support that other platform. After all Valve is a business and it doesn't make

What is more detrimental is the uselessness of the phrase "classified" in the after math of leaks. When leaks show that a lot of classified documents are not really that important it will desensitize people to the word classified

Actually the whole point of Firefox OS is that you don't target the desktop anymore. So the answer is that you can't do that in Firefox without actually releasing an app packaged to run standalone. Some other service that don'
