Thanks, I'll check that app. I have FAQ and help pages. And, when I see patterns in the questions I update the user interface to make it clearer and those emails stop. I've optimized it to a point where most of the questions are unique or a

That's all nice, but what do you do when you get so many custemer emails that you don't have time for coding anymore? I used to answer support emails within the hour and our users loved it. But as we grew it started to take it's toll and sl

You might be missing the point. Had FriendFeed worked on improving Twisted and it's documentation to make it easier to use, they would have achieved what they needed in less time and would have avoided fragmenting the resources of the open

What I found encouraging and enlightening was knowing that most startups go through the "Trough of Sorrow" (the time after launch when you don't get any users and things look really bad). Just knowing that you're not alone makes it so much

Awesome. I started using it with the Facebook developer forums feed, which has only the titles of each post, and it's a great improvement. The one thing it can't do well, though, is following the thread messages. Basically, a thread shows u

I hope it takes off, but I really doubt it will. It's too complex, and the benefits are not so clear. I understand the long term benefits/goal, but it's hard to motivate content producers to adapt something new if they can't see quick retur

I incorporated as an S-Corp when I started. Two weeks ago I got into the fbFund incubator program, and the first thing they asked me to do is to convert to a C-Corp. I'm glad I started with an S-Corp because converting to C is a simple form

Are you, maybe, stretching the definition of entrepreneur too much? If you're building something innovative, but not a business, then you might be a pioneer, a visionary, or a leader. It's not about the money. You can get rich in any one of
