I find that debuggers solve a very specific class of bugs of intense branching complexity in a self contained system. But the moment there's stuff going in and out of DBs, other services, multithreading, integrations, etc, the debugger

As the article said, nasa accounts for less than 7% of spacex revenue, additional nasa contracts is inconsequential to spacex which relies mostly on starlink for revenue

You're making a lot of assumptions there. The guy probably had a training dataset with real cycle data and shopping data and went off of that.

The fundamental problem with customizability is that code path complexity is exponential on branching. So it works as long as your app is sufficiently simple, but eventually, the exponents catch up and eat ur software alive.

Its hard to tell if genai is just hopelessly complicated or if there are people with really accurate takes that are drowned out by the noise.

Removing the owner should be done at the time of the transaction - by the owner themself. I bought a used tesla and it was very straightforward. Getting registration should also be done at the time of the transaction to make sure there'

A giant share of America does not care. They don't care if spy drops 40% or if bonds default. They aren't bought into the system at all.

Pedantry, this counterfactual idea that tesla or EVs would be as big as it is in America without Musk is just absurd. The company was bought when it had like 3 people and a 250k concept car which was completely redesigned and rebuilt under

I've heard similar arguments 1) if they were effective then we wouldnt see millions of students jumping into 60k a year private institutions 2) I don't buy this at all, I think students mostly select based on prestige. Academic ri

It's time to be unburdened by what has been and sharply divide the vocational school and the higher learning/research track like most other first world countries. It's very cruel imo to send mediocre students (who likely won&

Universities in the US are a giant clusterfuck because they confuse themselves between centers of status/prestige, a place for learning/training, and a semi-professional sports team.

This is the classic, very domain specific wisdom that does not extrapolate to all software. Some codebases are narrow in focus and rely on solving a problem in a smart way. Other applications just need to hold thousands of data points that
