What’s shocking is everyone can wrap their heads around regular country post offices, emails, in general distinct entities interacting, but lose their minds when you tell them about mastodon. Just tell them it’s email for twitter. Just like

I gotta say I’m impressed, this thread has over 300 comments and everything still feels smooth, for a dynamic site that’s quite the feat to escape the hn hug of death.

Will this just include all the dlc from cs1? Aside from the qol mods the community created c:s feels like basically a complete game. I’m interested to know what they’re adding.

Reddit has been overwhelmed by a certain type of employee that spends more time worrying about the political opinions of their colleagues and less about excellence and productivity. Similar to twitter which turned out to be a finely tuned R

Just fyi, by many accounts of people who used the vPro its screen resolution is on par with the qPro. As in not significantly better or different. I would recommend taking advantage of their demos if you’re in the right city. Or waiting unt

Wow, are you seriously crowing about someone getting fired for not liking a particular company?

Hmmm… really makes you think, if you spend all day focused on the wrong things and hire based on your own biases you may not end up with a company full of A’s.

Not really but I noticed during their keynote they kept mentioning that features and apis would be opened to 3rd party apps. In the past these sort of features were always exclusive to apple’s own apps and considered part of their moat.

Yup. A lot of the consumer protection regulations are being totally ignored with impunity. It’s nice to see one retailer held to account. But I don’t think it foretells a larger trend. These days you need to be very aware of what a fair pri
