In 2024, font rendering in Firefox on Windows is quite bad compared to Chromium based browsers. You can see it a lot with Microsoft websites like outlook and azure devops. I tried, but switched back to Chrome (Ungoogled Chromium)

DOL does it. It's called the Schedule A Occupation List. The problem is they don't update it constantly like Canada does. Needs funding I guess. https://www.uscis.gov/policy-manual/volume-6-part-e-chapter-...

I guess the rubric depends on whether policymakers view the employment based green card system as zero-sum or non-zero-sum. My proposal for green cards: zero-sum - points based system based on your current salary, taxes paid and the occupat

I don't know about your specific circumstances but for Indian cooking, gas is just miles ahead. We have electric at home, It just takes forever to cook anything and it's hard to control the heat. Our friends with gas cooktops get

Bard lies a lot, probably why. I try this query every once in a while: Please provide a list of small SUVs sold in 2023, sorted by rear hip width. It gives a list, but makes up a bunch of numbers for hip width.

This is a classic case of monopsony. Health care is highly localized so if a large hospital system is the biggest employer and buys up all the private practices you don't have much choice but to join them. They're now basically do

I'm one of those people who turns on motion smoothing. For some weird reason, it makes older shows like friends or sound of music crystal clear on my LG C2 OLED. I can't explain why.

They still make them. The base trims of Tacoma, Camry, Civic, F150, Silverado, Subaru, Mazda have simple powertrains. There won't be anything in it that will break before 200k miles with regular maintenance.

There's an entire spectrum of options here from complete outsourcing (banks and gov) all the way to writing everything yourself (Google). I've lately found a middle ground that seems to work well - licensing source code or librari

Legislators love the status quo. Having a rotating roster of complaint foreign workers whose employers control their visa, you get to keep all their FICA taxes, AND you get to kick them out after 6 years. It's basically Dubai++
