Just tried it, and it does work exactly that way, because the Docker menu -> settings choice opens an application called Docker Desktop, which can be switched to-and-from with the keyboard. I'm not arguing with your basic point, bec

I have a lot of confidence in Apple even if they are less than 100% all the time. They put a vast amount of effort into catering for diverse users, their iOS accessibility, for example. So I would bet that the Watch sensors are solid. Or wi

Ah yeah, maybe. I've had the watch and previously a Vivoactive HR and they never seemed to have any trouble with my skin colour when measured against other measurement methods.

Great piece of work, seems to focus completely on NewGrounds, which, as a Flash games developer from 1999-2009, I had not heard of back in the day. There were Flash games EVERYWHERE from b3ta to Orisinal. We wrote games for clients and were

There’s sometimes a trade-off between privacy and utility and Apple are very good at making tough decisions on users’ behalf. Not perfect, but very good. Clipboard “snooping” could be anywhere between enthusiastic developers providing utili

We have been discussing this and it is somewhat problematic, although it depends on how long the intel macs last. The Mac Pro Range are the most expensive things ever and owners will want to sweat them. It could be that security fixes will

Homeless is an outcome, not a thing that looks the same from every angle. It’s a feature not a bug and the steps that lead to it need to be addressed for a meaningful fix. Money and commitment needs a plan and a clue. The idea that you can

Yup, I had to go through a couple of USB-C cables before I found a working combo (See Pi 4 USB-C woes elsewhere, since fixed) but that was it. I use Blink for SSH/Mosh and VNC Viewer - Remote Desktop. I also used this link to help me g

Funnily enough, to avoid all the cables and mess, I simply plug my Pi 4/8Gb straight into my iPad, then VNC or SSH into it, and instantly have a development environment. I would have to use some kind of hub to charge the iPad at the sa

Well, that was outstanding. i haven't seen Kraftwerk live since 1991 or 1992 but that was a gig I will never forget, and they're still changing and adapting. I wish I'd had the money to get tickets for their Italian gigs.

What is the point of all these? Large scale manufacturers have already been sent blueprints of ventilators and have the engineering ability and production lines to make them. Then you need trained nurses and staff to operate them.
