I used to work with Actionscript and Haxe came from the guy who wrote Mtasc, so we were quite excited. We loved that you could access features of the Flash VM that were not available through Actionscript, but it never gained traction. Right

Everything sounds great to me. A lot of my older records have cracks and pops and minor scratches and I’ve heard them so much during the opening and gaps between songs that I actually recognise the patterns and it becomes part of the antici

My iPad and Mac are usb-c. My iPhone isn’t. We all know this and have to carry two cables or more. However, I already use a common charger as it’s only the charger End that needs to be considered. We could save on cables, however. Still, th

Just go up to a married heterosexual man and ask, "So tell me about the guy you married?" And see how much sense that makes. "Guy" and "guys" as a catch-all is outmoded. As someone said, the plural reinforces t

Nothing by Ultimate Play The Game? Not a brilliant series of choices, apart from Elite, I wonder what the criteria were? Actually I take it partially back. Lemmings and Wipeout are well worthy.

I switched to NeoVim a few years ago and I'm not entirely sure whether Vim has caught up in features, diverged, or what ratio of the two. That said, I'm not switching back. The only editor I'm really interested in is VSCode.

The new Routemaster is really terrible in a few important ways, very cramped with zero ventilation making it an oven in the summer, although the two sets of stairs and three doors makes boarding slightly better - yet encourages fare-dodging
