The VFR had such a great unique sound, could hear them approaching in the city. I had a 1998 which didn’t last too long but it was fabulous sounding. Only four cylinder bike I owned, it’s been twins all the way for me otherwise and for my e

It is a nice app to use, but my life depends on bookmarks and I’m happy with them. So I used Arc for an hour and gave up. Spotify and Slack integration nice though.

The HN comment thread - once again - provides more entertainment and enlightenment than the original post :) There’s some innovative features in the pens, but agreed, no classics.

This “article” is total “churnalism”, just marketing bunk with absolutely no content. Obviously I am aware what Wallpaper* is, which is mainly a conduit to help people spend their money as fast as possible like Brewster’s Millions, but this

I couldn’t afford to get into vinyl now. I have bought quite a lot of records over the last five years, mainly to support the brand new record shop that appeared in my town - the first place selling vinyl in twenty years - but gone are the

Understandable - we used to have a clear plastic roof over the kitchen and in the summer even dry herbs and spices were at risk of spontaneous combustion.

It wouldn’t last that long here, for sure. The salt in the eating butter keeps it good. Cooking butter usually needs to be cold for baking and pastries. I have a Japanese Koshikawa butter knife (dubbed “I can’t believe it’s not Clutter” by

The most important rule that they do not cover in this very nice article: The cooking butter goes in the fridge, the eating butter stays out of the fridge.

Well, that is how it is in the whole of the EU: you can go and live anywhere you like without speaking the local language. Sorry!

Everything you wrote is wrong. "Offending" someone is meaningless. Anyone can claim they were offended by anything, but that doesn't automatically make the thing illegal or injurious. Insults != defamation

I was at the local immigration office only a few weeks ago and German language skills are still very much required for PR. One doesn't need it for the family reunion visa and work permit, but does for PR. There is talk of dropping this

Lovely man, he came all the way to London to promote his biopic, Sing Your Song and sign his book. A complete and utter legend, maybe one of the very last people heavily involved with the movement. Xernona Clayton is still with us, as is Cl

They sponsor team strips, and then those players get done for dodgy gambling deals, but don’t mention the advertising… it’s almost like there’s some disconnect…

Only their mail product was vaguely good, but became very outdated as the years went on. I liked Proton VPN but ultimately ditched the whole in favour of better value, better UX, more features.

No, that's exactly the wrong take in a different way. A photograph may has intrinsic qualities aside from technical ones, and time will change how you or others feel about the picture. And for the technical issues on top of that, techn
