Many game development scripting applications disagree with you. Including: DotA Workshop, Tabletop Simulator, Galaxy Editor (for StarCraft 2), and many others unlisted. Of course, this only matters because you're pretensions about what

Any dependent type theory is "semi-automated" because judgemental equality computes normal forms, there is no reason it should be this way, other than convenience of course.

Its not turtles all the way down, because there is a preexisting substrate that allows the discussion to happen in the first place. It is not a presupposition, because to merely state the _possibility_ of it being a presupposition necessita

I highly recommend staying away from Arch and NixOS if you're not ready to commit upwards of 30% of your work and free time fixing and tweaking your box. I've tried both, Arch Linux will routinely hose your entire install if you d

Language changes with use. What has frustrated me since high school is when people get so pedantic over the natural progression of language. Conservative to the bone I guess.

Two things: First, if this is as well documented as you say then you should provide such documentation as you seem to think it should be at the finger tips of others. Second, your comment doesn't actually counter the main point of what

Funny, seems like the rest of the world is taking it a lot more seriously than the U.S., but yeah I guess its just the "progressive westerners" that are the problem. One important thing you should know, smart people are just as du

It's easier, I agree, but I would not say its better. Collaborating online requires documentation, its more effort, but the artifacts you produce can be a lot more useful for everyone involved.

This philosophy would mean that there is no wiggle room in performance at a level. Either you're meeting expectations or should be demoted/fired. Needless to say, I find that black and white thinking ridiculous.

I like workflowy a lot. It is basically my single tool for task lists, idea repository, recipes, etc. If I can fit the information reasonably into a hierarchical text document, it goes in workflowy, and a lot of things do fit that model. Bu
