Can’t you just lock the system down and isolate it enough so the security vulnerability is a non-issue? Certainly there’s an ops solution to things like this.

Are they a big enough developer to really influence Apples API design? I’d think companies like VMWare etc. are more likely to be able to push and prod Apple to do something than a little guy like the Little Snitch dev.

Plenty of lower income lawyers out there, but yeah. Like anything, the best candidates get the best jobs. You’re not going to a top firm if you graduate at the bottom of your class and went to an average school, unless you have some other m

I kind of wish we had dorms for college graduates thinking about a 500 person dining hall, but I doubt that would be good for the COVID situation.

I think I’ll use your comments as a response next time someone calls me out in a code review or says I deployed a bug. Specifically the polynomial exponentially complicated bits. The look on their faces would be priceless. And they would fo

Not sure where you’re going with the can’t buy crappy stuff anymore argument, from another perspective, most things built today are crappy Chinese junk compared to things built 70 years ago, if they existed 70 years ago. Mending and the ar

Good idea. I have never noticed flicker on any of my lightbulbs. I wonder if some of us are unable to see (most) flicker, even though we may otherwise have great uncorrected vision?

Interesting, though I don’t personally find that useful. I’d rather use a service that finds music I may like based on what I listen to - regardless of origin - than one where I am the curator and must actively search/browse for new ar

Yeah, on second thought, I agree with you, but now I can’t remember what Pipedream is even used for, so I guess that’s a different complaint I have about it. But most software doesn’t have a name that indicates exactly what it is, anyways,

The other issue with Spotify is that they had no answer for Dropbox, clyp.it or more recently, Bandlab. Um, those things are not an issue for Spotify; Spotify's product is not meant to be used by creators like Soundcloud and definite
