Unpopular opinion ahead: The deal with user facing libraries like this is that I'd rather they generalize this and expose the existing network library drivers with a uring interface, and the user processes can take care of packet decap

It's good to have competition in the cloud space. Amazon already has two government regions, I guess (1 US and 1 CN). Can someone confirm if these are already operational?

Okay, can someone give an explanation for why Rust does not mimic the -O fast behavior? Is this something they plan to add?

Call me a cynic, but Europe isn't the USA. There are a lot of countries in EU which have, IMO, better work culture and fairness of negotiation as the guiding philosophies behind the work. If Google did this in the USA, it wouldn'

When I started reading about the radiation safety of 5G, I started understanding that most early operators were not interested in the safety aspects as much as the money aspects of it. And if anything, what time has shown me is that the for

This ^ DRM is only to create the illusion of security, to deter the average person, not the determined pirate or developer. Once you've sent the content to the client, you've lost all practical ways to avoid these torrents.

The way I read it: TL;DR - Jobs are stressing people out mentally and financially 1. We need more jobs, and with lesser trauma; Why do jobs have to stress the heck out of people? 2. SFO needs 3X shelters to accomodate the current population

It works very well when you need a clear documented interface for communication. It will not work on a culture which demands more facetime. And more often, the answer is somewhere in between, and it's hard to generalize.
