For me, it’s usually house stuff. If something breaks or needs maintenance that I can’t handle, it’s often a chore lining up contractors to get it surveyed and repair. Other than that, I’m also curious what people’s life admin stuff is.

I worked 4 days a week for 10 hours a day for a while. It was really nice. We’d often end up working late anyways, so even though the days were long it still felt normal, but then you also got a three day weekend every week. One of us would

Not the person you’re replying to, but I just got stainless steel cookware this year. Covid got me cooking much more, and I actually started liking it, so I thought I’d invest in some decent pans as my non stick ones were wearing down. I am

This is just personal, but once I had to help my aunt during an extreme bipolar episode. She was violent, paranoid, and hallucinating. One of the most haunting things from that time was her eyes. They seemed hard and staring. When she looke

I’m a fan too! The dream machine, aps, and a poe switch were cheaper than what I’ve paid for just a single “enterprise” device before.

I think we all crave to be engaged in something. I don’t think it’s a bad thing to not be able to sit in a plain room doing nothing. We have an innate desire to create, to solve problems, to interact with others. That doesn’t mean we don’t

No no, I use sandpaper. So much cheaper than other exfoliating washes. But yes, I did mean to imply two different companies.

That’s true! Some might be lucky. The face wash brand I use is pretty distinctive and not sold everywhere, and that was on the report, so I feel like there is a lot of truth in the products being linked back to me.

I had a minimal Facebook account that I wasn’t really using, so I deleted it. Before deleting, I downloaded the third party vendors that Facebook shared data with and was shocked. I almost am never logged in to Facebook and yet here was Hom

I did not understand the Apple fans until I started using Apple for work stuff. One Apple product alone isn’t anything to write home about, but once you start getting more products, the eco system is above and beyond. Did you highlight a te

Thanks for this! I was wondering if it would work on CentOS. I had Ubuntu on my personal computer because I had Ubuntu in my mind as the easy one for personal use, but I was working with Cent on another desktop and was actually surprised ho

As an only child, my guess would be because I had no one to play with. Even if you have friends, siblings are far more accessible to go out and do something sporty with. In fact, your parents might even be telling the lot of you to go play.

I agree! It seems like it could have been anonymized. The government site I check regarding covid news that is local to me has the person’s age, sex, test results, and county. I don’t see how vitamin d levels could be an identifier. Just ve

Darknet Diaries just did an episode about how Wannacry disabled the NHS on episode 73. The episode was way more descriptive of how the attack affected functions of the hospital, but basically, there’s a lot of overhead. Suddenly, you have t

That is incredible! Where I live, the bike lane will exist for a mile or so, then suddenly disappear. I’m also jealous of the public transportation in a lot of places. I’d never drive a day in my life if I didn’t have to.

Good points! You start looking for a competitor. Personally, I don’t like the argument “they weren’t going to buy it anyways.” So you get to enjoy the software or movie, and it’s no harm done because you weren’t going to buy it anyways? I t

Iron supplements. “Flora fix liquid iron” was the best I tried. I tried pills, but they made me feel so sick. Slow release iron pills were fine though. I also try to be mindful and try to get iron from my food. Meat, spinach, dried apricots
