Much much better! I have a lot more energy. There were times that I was so tired at work, I would go in the bathroom and lay my head on the toilet paper dispenser for a moment. I was just so desperate. I felt like I took Benadryl. Looking b

I quit reddit a year or so ago. I knew it was getting bad when I felt like my way of speaking was getting taken over by reddit speak and memes. Screw something silly up at work “that face when...” I worked hard to start reading longer form

Good addendum! I didn’t think anything of being tired all the time. Even though it’s silly, the jokes about adult life being tiring and all the “but first, coffee” things really made me feel like being tired was just a normal byproduct of b

I actually find this article really sad. Super happy that the person was able to get to a healthy weight, but their relationship with food still sounds unhealthy. No snacks. Put down your cutlery between bites. Reward yourself for being “go

Me too! Why do I have to use a third party app to snap my windows? It’s so cumbersome pressing the green button, clicking which side you want the app on, clicking which app you want on the other side. When you exit, one app goes full screen

Maybe it’s half true. I wanted to be in college, and everyone I met was happy to be there. However, there is some anger at the feeling that you HAVE to be there. There is a lot of cultural pressure to get a higher education. I also remember

I can’t either! I’m surprised at the comments saying they totally would. I guess I remember the anthrax scare when I was little, so unsolicited packages have always freaked me out a bit.

Yes! Or a terse, “this has already been done,” with a link to the project. Some poor soul just said they spent the last 2 years of their life learning to make their project, and you’re gonna hit them with the “been done” punch?

We recently got a very green new hire at work. I told him to learn some vim because it would be helpful for him. He went rogue and used nano instead.

Doing a project that’s already been done before is such a learning experience. The person in the article learned a whole new framework to try and optimize their project. What a great bonus skill to have in your back pocket. I have been tryi

I also dress up for interviews even if the place is casual, and I even usually dress nicely for the first day of work. You’re normally introduced to 100 people on your first day, and I like to make a good impression. I’ve never had a proble

I read Lolita because I was really curious about the unreliable narrator aspect. The writing was incredible. I tried to get my friends to read it, but the subject matter really put them off.

I like Todoist. A friend recently leant me a book called “Getting Things Done,” and what I got most out of it was using my todo lists better. I have several todo lists for things like house, study, and “I’ll get to this one day, but it’s no
