fyi, Judaism does not prohibit the consumption of alcohol. Sometimes it's even required for religious purposes -- notably you need to drink four "cups" (at least the volume of an olive, IIRC) during the upcoming Passover sede

Not my metaphor -- it's one used by many doctors, neurologists, psychiatrists, and psychologists. ADHD does in fact have a physiological basis. It's a neurological disorder, specifically a neurodevelopmental and neurobehavioral di

I meant it mostly jokingly, and I actually agree with you for the most part, though I do think literally catching on fire multiple times is not so amazing. I grew up riding the MBTA and mostly just lament how it's been mismanaged and s

That's absolutely fine and your choice, and great that you don't feel that you need it, but just for anyone who could benefit from medication and is seeing your comment, it doesn't make you any less "you". Just like

That's awesome. I also got hit hard by the science bug (pun intended) as a kid, which I can partly attribute to finding a random virology textbook in an academic bookstore dollar bin. I was obsessed with virology at least until college

You're being obtuse. Parent clearly meant gentle as in "lower impact", which really is the idea. Swimming is a great exercise option for joint health (and in general).

Probably not what you want, but the Lenovo Workstation TB 4 dock has 230W output but uses a proprietary "Thunderbolt 4 split cable" that is only compatible with certain Lenovo laptop models.

Imagine someone being so afraid of a little piece of their meat being replaced that they would rather die. My point is, you're allowed your opinion, but if you're simply deriding others for not sharing yours, you're not reall

Your anecdote sounds more likely a result of improper preservation than anything else, since it's unlikely everyone present would have had an intolerance. The author of the page you linked also seems to imply that their reaction was so

A bit besides the point, and not exactly disagreeing with you, but in my experience (living in Italy for over a year now) most Italians don't own a high-tier espresso machine. They have a cheap aluminum moka pot or a nespresso pod mach
