IANAL but I think you're basically right, however judges and lawyers are human and may not be aware of these finer granularity "micro-races". I'd like to think this bill is a case of "explicit is better than implicit"
- singleshot_ 3y agoI’m much more interested to see how a law like this could be applied to a bunch of, say, white or Hispanic farmers in the Central Valley once some extremely creative lawyers get some time to think about it.
