I dont even mean 4k. Just simple 720/1080p quality amateur porn is a huge step up from what we had 5 years ago.

Porn video quality increases a lot year to year. There are probably multiple lifetimes worth of 90s porn out there and I bet almost no one watches it now besides as a curiosity. It's not just video quality either but style. I've n

I strongly disagree. Bad actors thrive just as well if not better in places with moderation and even sign up fees. Metafilter is a forum which used to be very diverse in opinion and is now basically captured by a small vocal minority. How d

I use nordvpn that I purchased with a credit card. Before using it I would get notices from my ISP for pirating but not anymore. As far as I'm concerned it just makes me not the lowest hanging fruit and that's good enough for me.

Tracking flagged/removed comments would be very interesting. I have a hunch that there might be some interesting patterns there beyond obvious trolls or bigotry.

You could say that for any informal familiar expression that makes the recipient bristle. It's so common people joke about it "don't call me dude, bro | don't call me bro, pal" etc etc

>Overall, using "du" is acceptable in 90% of social interactions. It's only when talking to people in higher positions or as a courtesy to elderly / unfamiliar people. That is pretty much exactly how nigga is used.

On the contrary, articles like this remind me to not take life for granted. Ever since I read about Lee Holloway at Cloudflare I try to be grateful for every day on this Earth. I am 30 and yet so many promising and beloved people have died

Don't sign the contract and take on the debt if you can't pay it. If the contracts are usurious and predatory then they probably will not stand up in court if challenged. Most collection agencies settle for 50-70% of the balance o

Contact from a third party collector? Sure, don't respond. But if you're being summoned by the court under threat of a default judgment then you should probably show up or don't be surprised about the outcome.

You can break your contract too by declaring bankruptcy and screwing over the debtors. Your debt might not be real or moral but you still legally have to pay it so what does that change.

AFAIK harassment in most states is very illegal now and is a great way to get your debt dismissed. The same goes for fraud in debt collection. As I mentioned in previous comments, tactics like sewer service by debt collectors are a great wa

Sure that aspect of debt collection can be improved and is a clear injustice. How many debt collections are of that nature vs people with real lapsed unsecured debt though? If i had to guess not nearly as many. I'm mostly taking issue

Most states now have laws against debt collection harassment and have caps on debt collection interest and fees. There has to be proof in court that a debtor was served papers to get a judgment. There's a term called 'sewer servic

I'm not the OP but I have read a bit about how "adequate PPE" can be controversial. It really boils down to how long certain ppe can be used, what is the risk of infection from reused ppe and how to sanitize ppe effectively.
