This article is about committing knowledge to long term memory. I've been thinking about ways to actually augment long term memory with external storage. I'm unsatisfied with current software (mind maps, OneNote/Evernote, Wor

The "ok" doesn't exist, just moral/ethical standards we set for ourselves. We could go by nature's standards but we can also do better (social care is nice to have). The practice of taking lives for pastime doesn&#x

Stable releases are very old. 'Experimental' builds are very stable and most players update to newest build regularly. Some prefer to use a launcher for automatic updates: https://github.com/remyroy/CDDA-Game-

Good read. I feel the title should be "Teaching Programming Paradigms and Beyond" since the text assumes familiarity with complete CS landscape and comments on success of several teaching methods. I would recommend (also misleadin

If my count is good, this is correction of correction of correction of original article's correction. And average developer is expected to get it right the first time? It's a miracle anything built in C actually works.

You are answering a different question. To put it in your terms, do you think your solution is more efficient than putting fan in upper part sucking the air out, and what's your reasoning?

There's so much misunderstanding and wrong terminology surrounding voxels. Voxels are a way to store world data in memory, basically 3d bitmaps. They won't give you infinite details, just the opposite - they can only give you sing

I don't think your adaptations were caused by the movie. Fake wake-ups are common when lucid dreaming and some practitioners counter this by training themselves to preform reality checks each time they wake up.

I like your explanation for changing lines of text, but I don't think brain is actively generating any content. I think brain is just trying its best to apply daytime pattern recognition to un-orchestrated neural activity. The most rec

I was introduced to this phenomenon through Kurzweil's book "How to create a mind". He claims that the brain is massively parallelized pattern recognition machine, with consciousness being a censor that filters results. While

Thanks for the insight, very interesting! I'm working on project that uses distances in N-dimensional space for determining appropriate human response and face expression; I was also wandering if this falls under AI umbrella.

Löve has only one limit - it's 2D. Other than that, you can use build anything you want, in simple and cross-platform way. Löve is easy in terms of API size and tooling, but it's more low-level than other engines and therefore aim

‘Orthogonal’ is fitting, considering Löve is 2D and this engine allows you to move out of 2D plane. I had similar needs and so far Lövr[1] scratches my itch. [1](www.lovr.org)

I'm with you on this. I'd like to see ML applied to compositions of single artist (MIDI files) to try and emulate his style. Then you could create a blend of Santana and Gilmour. Even better, model should also work in real-time to

I would think so too. Everybody recommends finding a teacher (and a good one at that), but that's not possible for many people. Most people don't have access to good teacher, money to pay one, or enough time for scheduled lessons.
