Ill ignore the stuff before the last question as it doesn't all seem in good faith. E.g. saying "it is an observation, not an argument" about a provocative statement containing the words "you'd be wrong". For o

Poetry in theory works fine but I found it a pain to use on Windows. As in flakey. A project works, then a dependency can't be found, so I reboot and then it can. The tools to manage and diagnose why it is not installing to the right e

Worse CRA goes from saviour to deprecated, "use nextjs or vite instead" in a blink. Meta should maintain it. Nextjs will probably morph again in the future so you hope investing in learning vite is the answer. JS has this way. Mea

It is merely syntatically confusing. Make == be ~~ or .fuzzyCompare() And === be == And you are fixed.

Linters are for this. You need to detect if someone is humble and smart enough to fit in to how you do things as a team, whatever that is. Not reject someone for not hitting a style guide on a piece of paper tucked behind a hidden secret do

Unit tests should be part of the interview too. As should googling the behaviour live. Missed opportunities to go beyond the bland exercise to see what it is like pairing up with this person.

Not entirely convinced. The tradeoff is in-office you need to sit next to someone. Remote you can talk to anyone in the world. But it is the role of good WFH culture to avoid siloing of people.
