This is one of those moments where I realize other folks on HN have almost exactly the same Firefox setup as me. Nice list of add-on recommendations! I would add in a couple more, for anyone tempted to switch away from Chrome or Safari: -

Used to use Amazon as my go-to source for bulk gum. Silly, I know, but they stock the big 14-packs that you can only find at massive bulk stores like Costco, and even then, it's hard to find them reliably. After receiving a number of f

Sadly, Spotify is both hurting the podcast ecosystem AND a crappy podcast player -- much worse than PocketCasts, OverCast, or even Apple Podcasts if I'm being honest. It's like the executives decided to force podcasts into a music

Does MediaMonkey allow you to edit album, artist, and song metadata for your Jellyfin library? Metadata curation is the only thing I've had trouble with in more than a year of Jellyfin usage: seems like the only way to edit certain fie

Fun fact: SEO spam and AI-driven search seems to have made "Press A" a completely un-googleable term at this point. Seems to correct me to Wordpress no matter what I do, even using quotes, and then ignores A as a glue word. It occ

Splitting it up between two meals is definitely a game changer. As long as your other meals include some leafy greens or vegetables, this is a pretty damn efficient way to eat. I used to do this right out of college when I had a crappy kitc

I load up on the veggies, personally. There are plenty of nutrients in dairy, sure... but also a LOT of calories. Meat is also very calorie dense. Unless you're regularly burning hundreds of calories with intense cardio, you probably d

Good point. Is it correct to say that on a long enough timescale, self-produced content is cheaper than licensed content ? Or is the production cost so high that that basically doesn't matter? Makes a lot of sense to push the content
