Isn't MCP just an OpenAPI spec that everyone agrees on? I don't really get the confusion around it

I can highly recommend gp.nvim, it has a few features but by default it's just a chat window with a yank-to-chat function. It also supports a context file that gets pasted into every chat automatically (for telling the AI about the too

Danish culture has the concept of a work canteen as a basic expectation in any work arrangement, no matter the size of the company. I don't know why this isn't more popular everywhere else. Even if I had to take a slightly lower p

I mean MCP is basically like an OpenAPI or graphql spec for LLM tool use. There has to be some standard. In fact it's not even for the LLM, MCP really is so that humans don't have to build bespoke integrations with every service.

Ok but don't you have engineering wide slack/teams channels where these discussions can happen? If I think to my self 'man this is really hard to achieve for whatever company specific reason' I don't just stew on it

I think that's the crux though, for some reason companies think that a team of 3-5 engineers needs a full time people manager. Unless you are dealing with all juniors or a bunch of primadonnas I don't see how every team needs thei

During my last job I have formulated what for me are the 2 unquestionable metrics to care about when trying to build long-term maintanable systems: - Consistency (fully agree with the article here) - Control Control to me means that you hav

Typically you get warranty on the whole thing through a single merchant, so if anything goes wrong you don't have to deal with the individual parts manufacturers.

Most numbers people are touting are from "Ultra everything benchmarks", lowering the settings + DLLS makes 4k perfectly playable.

Almost no one plays on native 4k anyway. DLSS Quality (no framegen etc) renders at 1440p internally and by all accounts there is no drawback at all, especially above 60fps. Looks great, no noticeable (excluding super sweaty esports titles)

In fact, calling 1400 sq ft a bachelor pad and then complaining about housing is unaffordable there is hilarious on many levels.

Also considering 1400 sq ft (130 sq m) too small to raise a family is peak American... That's bigger than 99.9% of apartments people live in in Europe and raise a family just fine.

Surprised to hear this as well. I have never received a Spam call growing up in Germany and living there again between 2015-2019. In 2019 I moved to Australia and spam calls have been a constant annoyance due to massive data leaks across al

When it comes to ML there is no such distinction though. Bigger models == more capable models and for bigger models you need scalability of the algorithm. It's like asking if going to 2nm fabs has any benefit other than putting more tr

In Australia you have a loan balance based on your degree etc and pay it back with a similar % of income. I assume in the UK it's the same, if you earn 1mio you will probably not have to pay 9% (or do but can claim it back) and be done
