Version mismatch of compiler and standard library (caused by Xcode) results in an unexpected interaction. An understandable mistake for Apple to make, but yet another one that suggests they are moving too fast for their own good.

One plausible (to me) explanation is that the received scancodes are added to a bit vector (a "set"), discarding their original order. Some time later, the bit vector is iterated in numerical order.

This doesn't ring true to me at all. The majority of junk calls I get are not from legitimate businesses that would have anything to do with the links you provided.

Just in case the downvotes didn't answer your question: no. Memory was already zeroed out before it crossed process boundaries. Apple's recent change is about zeroing it out even before it's reused within a process. (F

It's a fixed size per codepoint. Many clusters that appear atomic in a text editor are made up of multiple codepoints. The flag emojis are among the many examples.

Nice debugging. Do I understand correctly that the registry reads aren't actually the cause of the problem but rather just a signal that a QNetworkAccessManager is active and causing a scan? If so, is there a better routine to break o

FWIW, they are either joking or just wrong about "dailily". "Daily" by itself is a perfectly fine adverb, and I've never heard or seen "dailily". To prevent cavities, brush your teeth twice daily.

The newest iPhone you could have bought in 2012 was an iPhone 5, which was 32-bit and doesn't support anything newer than iOS 10. You'd basically not be able to run any apps from the last three or four years. (And apps from befo

Yes, please. While you're at it, stop replacing "OK" buttons with cutesy replies like "Got it!", which are even worse, IMO, because they apply the cutesiness to my own reply.
