I believe back in the day CDN could also help with libs due to maximum number of connection to same domain; but with http2 this issue went away. Still, localized content delivery is still needed even today, so CDN usage is still preferred.

Meaning you have other issues which have nothing to do with CI. Fix your tests etc. None of the tests can be 'flaky'. Either remove them, or fix them.

What is even worse some have hardcoded regexes, so if your domain does not end with .com it does not accept it as a valid email... That + behavior is pretty standard and not related to google only.

The only way this could make sense if business increased wages by 5% for remote workers, so they don't have to rent such large offices etc and still get all this manpower.

Depends on what you work with.. We develop some heavy server apps, only launching it takes over 8 gigs of memory, so combined with all other stuff that has to run, 16 is barely cutting it.

Probably because "you have to support it". If it does not work out of the box, but does work in Chrome, noone is going to bother to fix it. Same thing happened to IE - required additional code in order to work, and devs ignored it
