Wow, Commando looks really similar to the Kui tool mentioned in a sibling comment [0]. Would you agree? Or was Commando only used for options / an alternate to flags? [0] https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=22500032

Very excited to hear this. In the blog post where they announced this [0], they also say they will be helping their customers, the more the merrier. I know people worry that big companies use compliance to squeeze out smaller competitors, b

My understanding is that you should make sure that you have a service provider [0] contract in place with your mail provider and that they have easy to use tools for you to opt-out and delete subscribers info. There is also a need to make s

Interesting. That is a separate experimental low-data setting that's been around for a while in Chrome, but isn't supported by Safari [0]. Haven't run across it before, thanks! For low data mode specifically, looks like you c

The page load doesn't seem to change with "Low Data Mode" enabled on Safari (seeing ~30MB). Does anyone know if there is a way to detect that setting from within Safari? Would be cool to provide a low-fi version of a page if

Decided to put together a (hopefully!) more readable version of the legal text of CCPA. Felt that the one on the .gov site [0] that was lacking even basic indentation was a bit hard to follow! :) Not exactly light reading for a Friday night

As a long time player of the game Taboo, I liked this. :) Couple of thoughts: Nice that you didn’t force an account, but might be nice to claim the account to come back? I’d work on the alignment of buttons and timer on mobile - things don’

Glad to see more innovation in plastic recycling. Reminds me of this interview about making medical devices from recycled plastic in Gaza[0]: “Let’s talk about how your medical devices are printed on the ground in Gaza. 3D printers use plas

I like using storymaps to outline/manage projects. https://storiesonboard.com is a good collaborative tool for that or you can just use sticky notes on the wall if you are co-located. Here’s a blog post that explains the co
