Also to be fair, is it proven that Tor's most popular use-case is something other than criminal activity? I know there are legit uses for Tor certainly, but it wouldn't really surprise me if criminals were the primary users

I have a few comments/questions about the post: 1) Why is a mobile phone random number generator good enough to generate encryption keys, but not good enough to generate one time pads? What extra weaknesses do one time pads expose? 2)

So the attack is due to the fingerprint of the key being smaller than the actual key and therefore theoretically possible to find another key with the same fingerprint.. Doesn't textsecure and threema have the exact same problem? Both
