Absentinsomniac gave an answer that echoes my feelings. I was a dealer for many years (not on SR though), so I had to think about this. I'm not sure 100% what I personally would have done in the situation, but if someone snitches on yo

I know HN user gwern did some work partially documenting the forums. It was an interesting place to be, especially towards the beginning. I feel that most of us would've supported violence against those cooperating with law enforcement

It's comforting to know that I'm not the only one who struggled to get email-based authentication working in Django. It had me feeling totally incompentent a few weeks ago and I ended up implementing something very hackish to set

I personally find the New Yorker to be one of the few news sources worth reading. Can you point out any particular sentences in this article that you don't like the style of? Reading through it quickly I can't see anything that se

I did this more or less. I moved to Cambodia 3 years ago, spending ~500$ per month on average so far. It's not for everyone of course, but I truly don't care about things that most others would consider necessities. All I need is

It was 22 at the time, so about 5 years ago. As far as my mental state, it's hard to say what was from what, since I consumed a lot of marijuana and cocaine at the time too, but I did have psychedelic-like visual distortions that persi

Any runner? Sprinting is as good as anything for developing explosive leg strength. Of course, the best sprinters work lifting into their training as well.

I have also seen this 50% figure from various sources but I find it hard to believe, although I have no specific knowledge that would refute it. As far as I know, it's mostly low-grade weed that comes over the border, and while some gr

I agree that she is on par with Bush, honestly. She's been central to an administration that has conducted just as much war and added just as much debt as Bush's. And I would also pick Trump over her, if only out of sheer morbid c
