Many things such as app purchases can be shared, but apple music family plan does cost more than the individual plan. The workaround is to add (as you did) both devices to the same icloud account. AFAIK (i am not an expert on this)

I think once you've been "living" in your terminal for a while you're pretty used to the keyboard-centric life and going to a separate mouse-centric window manager world can be considered to be cumbersome. That said, I d

I'm planning to create a (probably written in Vulkan, so it will be ambitious...) project where I want to leverage modern 3D graphics for displaying potentially very large graphs in an intuitive & interactive way. I'm trying t

I feel like (as someone not too well versed in cosmology) that bigger and better telescopes and interferometry can help to validate stuff like MOND. in particular as it relates to better measurements of galactic structures.

I have found your comments on this thread very intriguing. The computational analogy applied to DNA and proteins is apt for me. Also, this strikes me as a potential resolution to the Fermi Paradox. What do you think?

It makes me think about how we see this sort of thing actually becoming possible with YouTube. Soon algorithms will be able to create stuff that will be sufficiently entertaining. Dreadful. I mean, I've already spent nearly half an hou

I don't personally have an issue with this, as it makes the market perhaps slightly more friendly to those who do take (a little) extra time to put in some quality.

You have to at least try to find a path toward self-actualization at your current job. Depends on how your relationships are with your various coworkers. For example my personal experience is this: Last gig was a startup, but I was stuck wi

You are referring to the ability to hop around the stack during debugging and inspect variables at will? Whereas with logging you have to log it before you will see it.

I feel like that is an outlier. For most companies the benefits of having all the data logged is worth the cost.

The only point i'd like to make is that the only reason that you "can't do" 4k@60 is because devs decided to tune their effects scaling in such a way that this is the case. This doesn't affect the argument that you&

I am not sure about this. Every analysis of performance when it comes to Go shows it lagging behind even Java. It is simply not mature enough.
