Git has lots of downsides, lots of power that forces you to work hard for things that should be easy. jj is better. If it's backed by git and doesn't break anyone else working on the repo, what's the problem?

Hold on, in the Rust example, how does `err_on_truncation` get set? TFA completely ignored that there's a setting somewhere (probably incorrectly defaulting to false)

That's quite a lot to ask. Not OP, but I'm not doing all that just because sometime else misconfigured their anti-DDoS, unless I really need to.

There are amazing craftspeople of any craft in the US. Far more than any other place I've been to. Cooking, or rather restauranteuring, is no exception. But the average restaurant is... not that.

Uhh, if you're comparing to the UK, maybe. Walk into a random restaurant in any big city in the US and you're going to have a bad time. Walk into a restaurant in Paris, Milan, Barcelona, Copenhagen, Tel Aviv, Seoul, Tokyo, Lisbon,

Too entry level? Even if every tool is entry level, tying them all together and actually making it work is hard. I'd say it's mid-to-late B.Sc. material. Relevance? Is there really a huge conceptual difference between Jenkins and

Read the article you linked to. In Srebrenica there were 40,000 Bosnian Muslims. 8,000 killed (and many more deported) with the goal of exterminating the rest is 20%. In Gaza, according to the highest Hamas estimates, it's 40,000, most

Their own state. This is what people keep missing in discussions about this conflict: you don't get your own state by having the world, or Israel, or the US, or Iran "grant" it to you. You get your own state by building it

All Israelis have stories about rockets over Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Haifa and Be'er Sheba. Waking up in fear in the night, for over a year now, and before that in previous rounds. At least the Lebanese see that the targets were military,

Agreed on both counts. I'm just saying there's a bit of a difference between shooting at a crew of 15 sailors once in a while, and sending a million+ civilians sleeping in their beds to bomb shelters (and destroying an elementary

Two separate issues. There needs to be regulation to stop Google from doing or allowing fingerprinting, and there also needs to be regulation to help people against one-sided decisions like that. You don't get to be that big and make y
