Yes. And this is where it gets sociopathic. Large companies will hire "good" managers to make people feel they make a difference, that they are being heard, and that the company gives a shit. But of course, this is business as usu

If anyone wants to be part of the decision making process, they really should strive to get in that room. And when they get there, they will appreciate the absence of noise from people who think their voices automatically matter. If a compa

Yes absolutely. We have control of our actions. Emotions we have no control over. Or rather, that should not be the focus of our intentions. But we can control what we do about them, and we can connect the dots between our actions and our e

I'm not a fan of this discipline of managing and processing emotions as if they were opinions or the consequence of our thoughts. Emotions are facts. This must be the premise. If you've felt them, they've happened already. Th

Actually yes and no. Discord has Webhooks (which is all I need). Slack requires a bunch of admin hoops and adoption by 3rd parties. With webhooks, as long as a service has an API, people like me can plug them right in.

A good test for visual design is the word test. What are all the possible words that can be derived from your design? You don't have to agree with them. They just need to be possible. Then decide on three words you want people to think
