Ahem, does that presentation say anything else? It’s explicitly about people who are introverts. It doesn’t mention or target extroverts at all. It doesn’t say anything whatsoever negative about extroverts or imply that there is anything wr

Morals aren’t just for when you decide that killing people is a bad idea. I think it’s morally right to not jaywalk when there are children around. That’s even less harmless than downloading files, but it’s still a moral question.

Why do you think ad networks can’t survive without targeting? Missing third party cookies doesn’t even mean that all targeting is impossible.

I have had third party cookies disabled for years and only ran into problems a few times, but that was years ago. Disabling third party cookies seems like a sensible default to me. You can have an argument about which option is better and t

Electric cars have an uphill battle in front of them. As a company you cannot have fussy debates about whose fault something was.

But it’s new and unusual. If there are really only these vague warnings in the manual (manuals tend to have all kinds of crazy warning that you usually don’t have to take all that seriously) then this is absolutely Tesla’s fault and they ha

I don’t think you can allow yourself to think that way as a company. Fussy debates about whose fault it was – when your customers didn’t do anything outrageously unusual – lead nowhere, just to bad PR.

Yes, it is Tesla's fault. Clearly. You shouldn't need to read a manual to drive a car. Tesla has to make sure things behave like people expect them to behave. That's how people are going to see it, anyway. Owning up to it would be a small p

Meh, for closed over the ear headphones I prefer Beyerdynamic's DT 770 Pro. The only problem is that they put quite some pressure on your head. You have to like it and best should test them for an extended period of time before you buy them

I don’t think it’s possible to bluntly copy Chomp (if you stay away from copying their aesthetics). All the stuff they do is pretty obvious and standard. It’s only special because the App Store search is so terrible. To me a performance upg

I can see how it’s better (the performance is awesome, searching in iTunes is just sooo damn slow, inflexible and no fun) and it has some cool but obvious tools. I’m just wondering why Apple needs to buy them. Can they really not just copy

If I understand you correctly, going from 44.1kHz to 48kHz would be worth it on the playback side of things? That wouldn’t seem like it would be all that hard to do. CDs are a legacy format now and AAC files don’t care about the sampling ra

The 13 inch MBA and the 15 inch MBP have identical resolutions, so 2880x1800 would be the resolution of both MacBooks. (The 13 inch MBP lags behind for whatever reason – but it’s kind of useless and a waste of space in Apple’s lineup anyway

Huh? That makes no sense. People don’t pick small displays over large displays just because. They pick them because they make for an attractive package. It’s all tradeoff, don’t you understand?

But what size is that screen? That’s the problem. Screen sizes have increased (or rather: it’s now affordable to buy a larger screen). A 27 inch panel with your resolution has the same old and boring ppi like a 17 inch screen with 1600x900

Does anyone know what those panels cost compared to the old ones? Is a 13 inch or a 15 inch panel more likely to show up first? Is a 13 inch panel even feasible? 2880x1800 is seriously crazy, that would be 255 ppi on a 13 inch screen, 50 pp
