Turns out the policeman who died was from a stroke, he wasn't hit with a fire extinguisher. Doesn't fit the narrative either.

If rpis had m2 built into the card it would be the premier ARM platform right now. Its so fast many people could use as their main desktop.

To me its crazy too about how the rioters in the Capitol are rightly prosecuted, but the riots in Portland Federal Courthouse as still going on and nytimes wont even mention it. EDIT: I hate bringing politics on HN, but cnn/nytimes hav

I agree, but it seems success is highly correlated with ability to bullsh*t. From school essays all the way to CEOs. If you can bluff your way with long stories, spew buzzwords continual assertions, and talk louder than everyone you seem to

I think this was the conclusion from the Sony hack (2014- wow nearly 7 years already). People were scared of cloud security but Sony showed that on prem isn't any better.

"Agile is a Adjective not a Noun". It was supposed to empower devs but has been hijacked by management to enforce standards. from Pragmatic Dave Thomas: Agile is Dead https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a-BOSpxYJ9M

That doesn't sound right. 1080p60 should only take about 10 Mbps. Gaming should not require much signal. 4k video does take more.

Its interesting I had a friend who got pregnant at University. I thought it would be ruinous to their career but maybe its a better solution. When she was 40 her child was already an adult and she could fully concentrate on working.

In Europe its pretty normal to have one child. It seems only in America people aspire to have 2, 3, even 4 kids.

By definition the median investor makes what the total market return is. Something like VTI is up 25% since Jan 1 2020. If tech investors outperformed a lot, there are lots of boomers who haven't kept up.
