I'm not an AWS expert by no means, but from what I've played around with it it's miles away from something like Heroku where you just have a two-line config file in your Github repo, you point Heroku to the repo and say "

So it's what - easier to buy? Can be managed from the same web site that you use to manage your droplets, instead of having two UIs?

It seems like their pitch is that it's a bit cheaper. Although it doesn't have most of the features Heroku has... nowadays they have some pretty great stuff, like a managed Postgres database connected to Kafka.

Not sure what you mean. Heroku can autodeploy from a Github repo just as well? You don't need the CLI for that

I'm confused - are you talking about inequality of opportunities (social mobility) or inequality of outcomes? Yes, we have really high income taxes which means our income equality is less in Nordics than in the USA. However, that also

Can you show evidence of any bias in the testing? Could it be possible its not biased? Asians are a historically disadvantaged population who have had to ensure so much racism in USA, yet unlike blacks in recent decades they've had hug

I'm from Finland and I don't understand what you're talking about. There are no gifted options in elementary school but immediately from high school onwards standardised tests rank students into better and worse schools. Ever

It's unlikely. You're suggesting there's an even bigger bias but one which we've been unable to quantify scientifically to even a limited extent (compared to this study, which provides clear evidence)

Men have worse grades than women, so women get all the more desired non-STEM jobs. Men don't dominate STEM fields, it's actually that women dominate NON-STEM fields and men are only left With STEM jobs

More likely this is due to synergies Morgan Stanley expect, such as being able to cross-sell their other products to Etrade customers, and being able to convert their current customers to Etrade. Even if Etrade is way behind the current gen

Shareholder value creation provides at least some shackles to management empire building. Stakeholder capitalism means they're free to waste company resources on whatever fad they can reap personal PR points on.
