I don't live in the area but I like the idea that the codes are updated to match the population. I hope there are some provisions for "access to sunlight" as the buildings grow -- something like Japan's Nisshoken policie

I learned recently from Alvy Ray Smith's _A Biography of the Pixel_ that Kotelnikov[1] was first to discover sampling theorem before Shannon independently did. And Shannon made it accessible to the West. It's pretty fascinating hi

Congrats! And thank you! This changed my lisp experience and my wishlist for interacting with non-s-exp code when I found it years ago.

I'm definitely in that camp. 4Dwm was nice back in the day. I never got the appeal of CDE back then. That said, after looking at old screenshots, I definitely prefer anti-aliased fonts.

If hands-on-keyboard-and-mouse (HOKAM?) is important, I would suggest looking at the digital content creation apps like Blender and Maya context menus and pie menus for inspiration. I know with my use of Emacs, I'd probably use or conf

Was guix considered at all? If so, what were the negatives? I'm personally getting more enjoyment learning this style of environment and OS management with a more established language for the configuration.

From the American perspective, they still have too much to spend on corrupting politics and justice hiding behind "spending money is free speech." There needs to be a 90% tax bracket and we should subject capital gains to normal t

I've had a hard time believing that this isn't government standard practice for an SSaS since Hushmail spoke about it in 2007. https://www.wired.com/2007/11/encrypted-e-mai/#:~:text=Hushm... .

I agree. But that comes at a cost of weight and bulk. The Pangolin is a 4700U. There should be a great 4700U option that competes with top-of-the-line Mac and Dell Intel SKUs.

As a recent owner of a Lenovo Flex 5 14 with AMD4700U, I recommend verifying that USB-C alternate mode / Display Port capability is available. On the Flex 5 it isn't and it's quite annoying that docking for multiple displays,
