- nullc 6y agoNo. For CA tax purposes capital gains are just income.
- gwittel 6y agoNo. In California capital gains (at least from stock) count same as regular income.
- pmoriarty 6y agoBetter than a capital gains tax would be a wealth tax. Tax, say, 1% for every million in net worth. This would be cumulative, so $2 million would be taxed at 2%, $50 million would be taxed at 50%, etc...
