It's just my opinion, but every major car manufacturer produces cars which have very similar test results compared to cheating VW results (fuel efficiency and such). I mean if VW got busted, with breaking NOx values by up to 20 times,

I agree that cars are very heavy now, though, usually there are few 'types' of car weight. I do not know which where is used. Usually there are 2 weights: unladen weight and maximum weight. I've heard about some third weight

Yup. Diesel cars can pull of 5l/100km quite easily (even VW Passat from 1998 can do that). My diesel Skoda Fabia consumes 4.6l/100km at 90kmh in highway. If conditions are not terrible, I hover around 5l/100km on average in m

+1, that's what I had in mind, by saying that those doors are overcomplicated, but was not eager enough to write more than two sentences. :)

Either way, I think it's over complicated. I get that their goal is to create some iconic look, and when someone sees that car/door shape, people would say "Oh, it's Tesla".

Yeah, that's cool, but how about a garage? Those doors lift quite high, and some garages or underground parking lots, have low ceiling. Though, this car is so expensive that probably a customer will have a garage the size of normal hou

According to user qq66, probably nothing. Though if Dialog is power management IC company, maybe Atmel's microcontrollers or Atmel based boards will have better power management features and/or be more power efficient?

As an Atmel customer, what does it mean to me? Will nothing change? Will Atmel's (or is it Dialog's ?) micro-controllers will become even more power efficient?

If mentioned style works is simple, and represents/introduces product/service well, then why not. What annoys me is when designers/developers over do it, e.g. scroll hijacking, lots of heavy JS which introduces horrible lag,

Even though CERN's budget is probably humongous, it does not mean it can spend 30k CHF (27.5k €, 30.5k $) left and right. As it is huge amount of cash. The best way to do is explain and negotiate with AllSIM. As I understood the studen

The most simple way IMHO is to use black font on light(-ish) or white font on dark(-ish) background. More universal font (for best contrast) is white with black outline, though it does not always work either and can look like a meme.

+1. When I come to HN, I usually read all topics on the front page, then open interesting ones in tabs. After opening 10 tabs, I hear music, then I find the culprit, close the tab, do not look back. Never play music without user permission.

Why he did not give a simple link to youtube playlist? Why I need to give him my email? Spam? Ads? Gonna sell them? If not, then it's only an inconvenience for him and for us.
